THE TRUTH
July 17, 2010
I typed this for a certain person, but I believe that she's not the only one that needs to hear this:
I understand where you're coming from I really do because I used to doubt him and think of him in the same way as you do, like "why would God let all these people suffer" "why are people abused and tormented when God sits up there watching idly"... well the thing is God cares for each and every one of us. does that mean he's going to live life for us and make it easy? NO. God put us here on this earth as a chance to see if we truly love him and desire to be a part of his family. God gives us a choice as individuals, whether we accept him or not, and as made apparent by peoples actions and beliefs not all believe in him... which is why we don't live in a perfect world where everyone is happy and full of joy. no, we live in a world of sin that is hard and troubling at times, a world that tests our faith and sees if we have the courage to stand up for Him even when we may be the only one standing. Christ died on the cross and saved you from your sin, but you still have to live life just like any other person and its going to be hard... nothing in life that matters is ever easy whether I'm talking about religion or financial success, everything comes from hard work and dedication. in the same way we(Christians) must continue to build each other up and stay plugged into the word. having a flimsy foundation will wipe your faith away with the first storm(trial/difficulty) but putting your heart and soul in Christ will make life so much more easier and stable, you'll find rest when you're weary, council when you are unsure, and hope in a brighter future when times get tough. he's out there and he loves you with everything he has, so don't let someone tell you that you don't matter and don't let someone tell you that you can't believe because of some mistake or sin you have in your past, for ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
whenever you're in doubt think about this...our minds are finite, we live & we die and we know only what we gradually become to understand and accept as truth, unless we have faith. faith gives us the opportunity to put what our mind can't comprehend & believe it even when we don't think its humanly possible. That said, God has a infinite mind, and is all knowing... so just think about that when you have doubts, you're finite, while the God of the universe is infinite!
If everything and everyone was perfect.. How could we possibly see how great He really is?
like I said earlier, regardless of if anyone takes me seriously or even cares what I have to say, I'm praying for you! and God loves you and he's there for you even when the earth is crumbling under your feet, or when the ones you love turn around and 'crucify' you. be strong! (:
