THE TRUTH

July 17, 2010
I typed this for a certain person, but I believe that she's not the only one that needs to hear this:

I understand where you're coming from I really do because I used to doubt him and think of him in the same way as you do, like "why would God let all these people suffer" "why are people abused and tormented when God sits up there watching idly"... well the thing is God cares for each and every one of us. does that mean he's going to live life for us and make it easy? NO. God put us here on this earth as a chance to see if we truly love him and desire to be a part of his family. God gives us a choice as individuals, whether we accept him or not, and as made apparent by peoples actions and beliefs not all believe in him... which is why we don't live in a perfect world where everyone is happy and full of joy. no, we live in a world of sin that is hard and troubling at times, a world that tests our faith and sees if we have the courage to stand up for Him even when we may be the only one standing. Christ died on the cross and saved you from your sin, but you still have to live life just like any other person and its going to be hard... nothing in life that matters is ever easy whether I'm talking about religion or financial success, everything comes from hard work and dedication. in the same way we(Christians) must continue to build each other up and stay plugged into the word. having a flimsy foundation will wipe your faith away with the first storm(trial/difficulty) but putting your heart and soul in Christ will make life so much more easier and stable, you'll find rest when you're weary, council when you are unsure, and hope in a brighter future when times get tough. he's out there and he loves you with everything he has, so don't let someone tell you that you don't matter and don't let someone tell you that you can't believe because of some mistake or sin you have in your past, for ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

whenever you're in doubt think about this...our minds are finite, we live & we die and we know only what we gradually become to understand and accept as truth, unless we have faith. faith gives us the opportunity to put what our mind can't comprehend & believe it even when we don't think its humanly possible. That said, God has a infinite mind, and is all knowing... so just think about that when you have doubts, you're finite, while the God of the universe is infinite!

If everything and everyone was perfect.. How could we possibly see how great He really is?

like I said earlier, regardless of if anyone takes me seriously or even cares what I have to say, I'm praying for you! and God loves you and he's there for you even when the earth is crumbling under your feet, or when the ones you love turn around and 'crucify' you. be strong! (:

I am a man of God... God IS NOT my religion...

July 13, 2010
i'm a man of God, not a man in the business of changing people. i think people get so wrapped up in being involved with the business of their church that they forget about their relationship with Christ. relationships are what keep us alive even though it seems like they are killing you. God comforts the broken. He wants us to be broken so he can build us up in His name. God is not my religion. He is my father, the one i look to for everything. i listen to Him even when it hurts and it seems ...

I am Cinderella

April 20, 2010
"She's pulling at me,
Saying 'Dad, I need you, There's a ball at the castle and I've been invited and I need to practice my dancing. Oh, please, Daddy, please?'
So I will dance with Cinderella
While she is here in my arms."

---

I was that princess once. I was 3, and my dad had taught me how to ride a tricycle.
I don't remember another time of being my dad's little princess.

My dad left when I was 5.
I was okay with it at the time, as he was never home to begin with.

Now that I'm older, there is that...

Warning: Not for the Weak of Faith

March 28, 2010
Jesus Christ did NOT say, "Go into the world and tell the world that it is quite right."

No.

He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation."
Mark 16:15 NIV

"The Christian church was facing severe persecution. Almost all believers were socially, poilically, or economically suffereing because of this empire-wide persecution, and some were even being killed for their faith. John was exiled to patmos becuase he refused to stop preaching the gospel. We may not face p...

What is God to you?

March 16, 2010
God is my Savior. He continues to save me every day. Not one day goes by that my flesh doesn’t yearn for the things of this world. That’s where Jesus steps in, my God, my Father. He shows me the right way. He fills me with joy. Words could never describe my Savior. My Lord saved me from too many addictions and impurities. You’ll have to constantly fight, just because you KNOW Jesus is better doesn’t mean the Devil won’t continue to try and deceive you. John 10:10 says, “The thief ...

An Audiance of ONE

March 8, 2010
My pastor (Shannon - yeah he has a girls name) was telling a story about his young son and his quest to score a basket.  His son, KJ,  played several games and he was yet to score - he was getting very frustrated.  One weekend, Shannon and KJ worked on throwing the basketball off the "magic square".  They practiced for hours and Shannon promised KJ if he hit the ball off the square, he would score.  In the next game, in the closing minutes, KJ got his opportunity to shoot.  The ball went of...

Change!
Have you ever had this overwhelming desire to change, but you just don’t know where to start? You think to yourself there is so many sins that you’re allowing in your life, but you don’t know which one to change first? Or for some people it would just be that you want to change, but you don’t believe in yourself enough to know that you can. Anyone can change and it may not come easy, most likely you will struggle just like me, but your struggles also help make you stronger. Yo...

Give God your all and nothing can go wrong

August 9, 2009
Romans 3:23- For we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

My story begins at the age of 6. I was constantly in church. every sunday and wednesday i would walk across the street to Fellowship Baptist Church. At that age i had no idea what church REALLY was. I just showed up and pretty much kept to myself. I never got into worship or bible study or anything. As I grew it didn't really change. I showed up a lot but I had never given/taken anything from it. I was a huge hypocrite. Ar...

This little light of mine..

July 5, 2009
Matthew 5:14-16
"You are the light of the world. A city on hill cannot be hidden.Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl.Instead they put it on a stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and give praise to your Father in heaven."

Let everything you do glorify of God.

We are all made in his image. It would please God if we would allow Him to shine through us.[repaint Jesus]
" Reduce me, re...
